As many of you following me know, SENuke is one of my favorite link building tools. Yeah, it’s expensive for many, but it works for me, and some of the best marketers I know. That is why I have been really excited to learn about the new SENuke X that is coming out on April 5th. While I don’t have my hands on a copy yet, I’ve been reading various blogs and forums to discover more about it. As always, when I do get my copy, I will update this post with my full SENuke X review.
The old SENuke code base was getting a little long in the tooth, so the SENuke team decided to rewrite SENuke X completely from scratch. So the first thing you will notice when opening the program is the brand new interface. SENuke was never known for a great looking interface, but from watching the various videos you can definitely see that SENuke X will be a lot nicer looking than the old SENuke. Plus it should be much faster and more functional as well.
One thing about the old SENuke is that many people found it hard to use. Well, with SENuke X, this is no longer the case. A step-by-step wizard has been integrated into the software that walks you through the entire process of setting up your campaign.
The killer feature though, is SENuke X’s visual strategy designer. Basically, this designer allows you to drag and drop various supported submissions (Web 2.0 properties, social bookmarking, RSS submissions, etc) and hook them up to create sophisticated link wheels, link pyramids, or any other link building strategies you can come up with. If you’re not the experimental type, SENuke X will come with several pre-made strategy templates that you can load into the software as well.
The other aspect of SENuke X that looks very compelling is its hands-free nature. If you are going to be out for a few days, that’s no problem. Just use the built in scheduler which will allow you to schedule your submissions over the course of those days. SENuke X can run completely in the background and minimized to the system tray. And if the software happens to crash, SENuke X now has the ability to auto resume where it left off.
In terms of different sites it can submit to, SENuke X has added the new Press Release and Custom Web 2.0 profile modules to the software. The custom Web 2.0 profiles modules should be pretty cool as it will allow you to add your own sites using the following scripts:
- SMF
- Expression Engine
- VBulletin
- PHPBB
- Invision Board
SEnuke X will be able to auto create accounts on these sites you add, and it will even add your own profile picture if you like. Overall, I’m hearing that SENuke X has a total of 840 sites to submit to, compared with 352 in SENuke. The biggest difference are the new forum profile sites, press release sites, and quite a bit more article directories are added as well.
As you can probably guess, SENuke X is not going to be cheap. If you get in at launch time, you will be able to pick it up for $127 a month. After that, the regular price will be $147 a month. I’ve also heard they will be offering Yearly ($997/yr) and Lifetime ($1997) licenses, but only during the launch.
I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on SENuke X and trying it out for myself. As I mentioned at the beginning, I will post my actual SENuke X review here after testing it out myself.
