Article marketing is still one of the best ways to build backlinks to your sites. That is because there are many highly ranked article directories out there which Google loves, and they allow you to build targeted links back to your pages. Of course, the problem with article marketing is that it’s rather tedious, as submitting your articles to multiple article directories by hand is no fun at all. Luckily, I discovered Article Marketing Robot, a really cool article marketing software that automates the entire article marketing process for you.

Article Marketing Robot (ARM) was developed by Vince Severson. Here’s a quick look at some of the most useful features of the software.

Using Article Marketing Robot

I’ve been using AMR for awhile now, and the more I use it, the more impressed I am with it The big thing about the software is that it’s FAST. Account creation, email verification, article submissions are all done in a minute or two. While the user interface might not be anything special to look at it, the software is very easy to use because of some really nice touches that Vince has incorporated into the software.

First off, I like the fact that AMR supports nested spun articles. That means I can use it to submit Ultra Spinnable articles right out of the box. The built in thesaurus is pretty good. It is quite comprehensive and even contains entries for words in different contexts. The software also remembers any synonym groups you use, so you can reuse them when spinning future articles.

While the software includes support for built in captcha solving services, I’ve found that doing the manual way isn’t too bad. This is because AMR queues up the captchas in a single window. This lets me enter one captcha, then TAB to the next one, and so on. This is SO much better than having random captchas popup all over the place, and makes them much easier to fill out.

Article Marketing Robot has built-in support for over 3000 article directories. It includes all the top article directories including Ezinearticles, GoArticles, ArticlesBase, ArticleDashboard, ISnatch and others. Having access to so many directories could potentially be unwieldy, but you can sort and filter directories by a wide variety of attributes, including Page Rank, Directory type and others. You also have the option for creating your own custom groups of article directories which I’ve found to be really useful.

Article Marketing Robot vs Article Demon

The other automated article submission product on the market is Article Demon, and I’m sure many of you are wondering how Article Marketing Robot compares. Since I’ve used both of them, let me share my thoughts.

Feature-wise, I think they are pretty similar. Both can automatically create accounts, verify emails, submit spun articles and all that. Article Demon has a fancier interface, but Article Marketing Robot is just a lot easier to use. I personally use a Windows netbook to run these two programs and running Article Demon on it feels kind of clunky, while Article Marketing Robot is really fast.

I find that Article Marketing Robot’s filtering and grouping options make the software much easier to work with than Article Demon. Article Demon does have a better built in article spinner, but ARM’s thesaurus is better. The other big advantage AMR has is that you can add ANY of your own WordPress blogs into it. Article Demon only allows you to add WordPress blogs that run with the Articlesss WordPress Plugin.

And then, there’s the price, which is a big thing for most people. Article Marketing Robot can be currently purchased for $80, while Article Demon is $127.

I can’t really complain too much about Article Demon since it’s definitely not a bad product. It’s just AMR is much more mature and quite a bit better at this point in time.

Final Thoughts

All in all, I’m really happy with Article Marketing Robot, and I will be using continuing to use it in the future. It is so far, the best automated article marketing solution I have found, and if you are looking for a reliable software to build links with, you can’t go wrong with it.
